Well, it’s been two years since our good friends at O’Tillie dinner hosted their last dinner, but this last Sunday they started them back up was the absolute perfect way to start them up again! Everything about the night was perfect. I’ve been to almost every dinner now and the food on this night might have been the best one ever! I loved the conversations and seeing old friends as well! Make sure you check one out someday soon, they’re the best!

Sam and Erica’s brunch-style wedding day didn’t necessarily all go according to plan, as with a lot of 2020 wedding days, but it didn’t stop it from being an absolutely incredible day of celebration! This was my first time shooting a wedding out in Nebraska City at the Lied Lodge and I was so excited from the first time Kim reached out to me about shooting their wedding day out there! This was also the first time getting to use my new 8mm film camera to get some shots throughout the day as well! Nick and Bailey’s wedding was on a Thursday evening at Glacial Till Vineyard and everything about it was perfect. They wanted to mix things up from a normal wedding day routine, which was really fun to see it all come together. Right after their first look, they helped with finishing touches of each other’s attire, they had a family style dinner outside on long picnic tables and then had their ceremony afterwards so they could have it at sunset which was absolutely amazing! I’m so happy to have been apart of their day and so happy to see the work that God does through the two of them! Enjoy!

O'Tillie Farm Dinner
It’s always a privilege to help out our good friends at O’Tillie with their Kinfolk dinners they put on! The food is always so good, especially when they do collaborations with other local food vendors to incorporate in to some of their dishes! At this dinner they teamed up with Carter and Rye for their meat pies and their take home pastries, they were delicious!! It’s also always so fun to see complete strangers come together around the dinner table and converse with each other and enjoy each other’s company! Ryan and Rachael’s wedding day was a non-stop lovable party! They were both so much fun to work with and get to know over the course of their planning! There was so many great candid moments and also one of the craziest champagne showers I’ve ever filmed! And lastly, see how many times you can spot Ryan with his tongue out : P haha!

O'Tillie Backyard Dinner
I love my family. I love hanging out with them, playing with each of their kids, watching them grow as parents, in their careers, staying updated on their lives and staying close with one another. We get together at my parents house in Lincoln just about every Sunday afternoon to eat lunch and enjoy each other’s company, for the most part ;) So when my wife, Amanda, had the idea to have a dinner with family and friends in their backyard, it was very fitting for us! Our good friends at O’Tillie Pork and Pantry have small dinners that they host about every other month and the focus of them is to gather and enjoy other people’s company around the dinner table, so it was perfect to have them put on a dinner for all 19 of us! We loved every minute of it, even when it rained towards the end, hence the Handmaid’s Tale look haha! We look forward to many more special times together! Enjoy!
