O'Tillie Dinner - The Portico
Well, it’s been two years since our good friends at O’Tillie dinner hosted their last dinner, but this last Sunday they started them back up was the absolute perfect way to start them up again! Everything about the night was perfect. I’ve been to almost every dinner now and the food on this night might have been the best one ever! I loved the conversations and seeing old friends as well! Make sure you check one out someday soon, they’re the best!
Jake + Megan
It’s nice to be updating the site with some recent work again! Jake and Megan’s wedding day is a FANTASTIC way to kick it off 2022! This wedding weekend was unreal to say the least, just by the length of the highlight video alone haha (which I looked back at most of the ones I’ve done and it’s the longest one I saw) Just such a fun-filled day with so many great memories to look back on and cherish forever. Sam and Erica’s brunch-style wedding day didn’t necessarily all go according to plan, as with a lot of 2020 wedding days, but it didn’t stop it from being an absolutely incredible day of celebration! Jake + Taylor Part II
Jake and Taylor had the honor of getting married twice in 2020, lucky them haha! Both wedding days were amazing, but this one right here, I’m so happy about! Taylor asked me in the very beginning if I could shoot some 8mm film for her wedding day and I could not have been more excited about doing it! This was the first (of hopefully many) weddings to have a lot of film included in it, I hope to incorporate it a lot more because I’m IN LOVE with it. I hope you all enjoy it as well! This was my first time shooting a wedding out in Nebraska City at the Lied Lodge and I was so excited from the first time Kim reached out to me about shooting their wedding day out there! This was also the first time getting to use my new 8mm film camera to get some shots throughout the day as well! I love getting the honor to photograph milestones in people’s lives, especially really good friends! The Ueckers and I drove out to the rolling hills in Iowa to take some maternity photos in such a beautiful area with some amazing light from the man upstairs. I really love how these photos turned out and I can’t wait to meet the little guy here in a couple more months! Lastly, Amanda did such a wonderful job on this makeup as well! Enjoy!

Nick + Bailey
Nick and Bailey’s wedding was on a Thursday evening at Glacial Till Vineyard and everything about it was perfect. They wanted to mix things up from a normal wedding day routine, which was really fun to see it all come together. Right after their first look, they helped with finishing touches of each other’s attire, they had a family style dinner outside on long picnic tables and then had their ceremony afterwards so they could have it at sunset which was absolutely amazing! I’m so happy to have been apart of their day and so happy to see the work that God does through the two of them! Enjoy!
