Whenever great friends or family ask me to capture their wedding day, I’m always hesitant at first. There’s a small part of me that wants to just be apart of the day and enjoy it as it unfolds. But then there’s the other part of me that wants to be the person to capture this amazing time in these two people’s lives and to tell their story. I love being that person. I love filming things that matter. I love that people choose me and trust me to capture those memories. I want to document all the laughs, cries, genuine moments, weird ass moments and all the in-between for them to look back on years and years down the road. I absolutely loved making this wedding film for Cassie and Jared who will always be dear friends of ours. I’m so happy that I was apart of their wedding day and also the one to document it. It's difficult to put in to words what this weekend in May meant for me. To be apart of my best friends amazing wedding celebration and also to be able to capture that day on video is something that is very special for me! I'm so happy that I have it all on video to be able to remember the good times, great laughs, tears, and precious memories had that weekend! Ben and Renee, you two are so special to Amanda and me. I look forward to many more amazing memories had between us all!
Typically around mid April, it starts to warm up a little and feel a little more like spring. But anyone who has been to Nebraska or lives in Nebraska knows that the weather is on it's own schedule. And on this particular Saturday, it felt like mid December instead of mid April, a severe snow storm and mid 20's out. Kevin and Lauren's wedding day was so much fun to be apart of, and such an honor to be included, even if the weather didn't quite cooperate with us! The reception at this wedding might have been the most packed I've ever seen the dance floor at a wedding! Hope you all enjoy this video as much as I did putting it together!
Well, another year of weddings for us and another AMAZING start! I loved piecing this video together and looking back at all the special moments, laughs and great company on this chilly April wedding day! Dylan and Ashlie's wedding day was chalked full of amazing moments, talented vendors, and non stop fun! We did our first same-day-edit for this wedding, it was definitely a challenge and stressful just because I wanted everything to run smoothly and go perfectly for them, but when the final video played at the reception for them, I couldn't have been more happy with how it all came together! Shout out to Kenny McKee for the second shooting that day and the editing skills to make that all happen! Also, side note, live bands are awesome, I'm a huge fan. Ok, enjoy the video!!

I really enjoy process videos. How something is made. It is always fascinating to see something really good created from start to finish. I have been wanting to do some process videos for a while now, and have finally got to do my first one! I hope to do many more! I figured why not just contact our favorite bakery in Lincoln, Goldenrod Pastries, and see if she would want to do one! So over a year in the making and planning (mostly just waiting on my camera to arrive) we got it complete! Angela had some amazing memories to share about making this delicious recipe with her grandmother from years past and was able to share that with me that day and her customers that visit Goldenrod regularly!
